What is copy editing?
After you’re satisfied with the general content and layout of your piece, it’s important that your writing matches the level of your ideas. During a copy edit, we polish your sentences by improving rhythm, rephrasing awkward lines, and maximising sentence clarity. This is generally the second stage of the editing process, once a structural edit has been completed.

All pieces are edited using the Microsoft Word Track Changes function. You’ll be given two copies – one with the edits integrated, the other with the Track Changes edits highlighted in red.
